Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get started?
To get started please call us at 602-685-6000 and one of our caring staff can get you set up for an appointment.
How long can I expect to attend counseling sessions?
The length of time you are in counseling depends on many things. The two main ones that stand out are the level of distress your concerns cause you and your willingness to work with your treatment providers to meet your goals. The length of time people are in counseling varies.
What if I need help with transportation?
With telemedicine transportation is not an issue. You can be seen with a smart phone with a camera or other type devices in the comfort of your own home. If you don’t have one then just a telephone can work. For some services coming into the office cannot be avoided and then based on your insurance transportation can be arranged. Call your clinician or healthplan for specifics.
What’s expected of me?
Great question. We ask that you be you. During your services it is important for you to be open and honest. Working with your providers it is important to speak your mind. It is okay to disagree with your provider or counselor in a respectful way.
It is also expected for you to attend your appointments and if you cannot make it to contact us within 24 hours to cancel your appointment.
What if I don’t have insurance?
If you do not have insurance, we have a sliding scale based on income. We also have a benefits specialist who can help you determine if you qualify for benefits or not.
