We believe that primary care is the foundation of good health. By addressing physical, behavioral and social needs together, we can help create a personalized care plan that helps you stay healthy, manage conditions effectively and achieve your best quality of life. Care is accessible at our clinics and via telehealth, ensuring support when and where you need it most.
At Terros Health, our compassionate team of caregivers offers high-quality counseling services to support individuals and families during life’s biggest challenges. From mental health concerns, grief, trauma and substance use to help navigating family dynamics, we devise a plan to help patients heal and grow.
We believe counseling should be as unique as the individuals and families we serve. That’s why we customize each treatment plan to meet an individual’s goals, preferences and clinical needs.
Specialty treatment modalities, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Brainspotting and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), are available. When clinically appropriate, telehealth services are also available to ensure our patients’ flexibility and access to care from the comfort of their own space.
Our services include:
- Group Counseling
Group therapy provides a powerful space for connection, shared healing and peer support. We offer group sessions focused on substance use, trauma recovery, grief, parenting support, relapse prevention and emotional regulation.
- Individual Counseling
Personalized, one-on-one sessions help support our patients’ emotional well-being and mental health. We use evidence-based approaches to help manage anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, life transitions, and more.
- Family Counseling
For families facing unique challenges, our team helps strengthen relationships, improve communication and resolve conflicts. Importantly, we work with the entire family system to foster healthy, supportive environments.
Substance use services
For those impacted by substance use, we provide a full continuum of care, including:
- Intensive Outpatient (IOP)
- Standard Outpatient Treatment
- Relapse Prevention and Recovery Maintenance
- Substance Use Prevention and Education
Our approach combines accountability with compassion, empowering individuals to build a sustainable path to recovery while using the latest in behavioral health research and treatment innovations.
Terros Health helps individuals living with opioid or alcohol-use disorders with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). This low-barrier treatment combines safe, effective medications with supportive care, helping patients take the next step toward recovery.
Our approach makes it easier to start care — often the same day patients reach out — without unnecessary waiting times or requirements. We offer medications such as buprenorphine (Suboxone®), long-acting injectable buprenorphine (Sublocade®) and naltrexone (Vivitrol®) to reduce cravings, ease withdrawal, and support long-term stability.
Terros Health offers compassionate, evidence-based care for individuals experiencing mental health and emotional challenges. We focus on whole-person care, integrating physical health, behavioral health and social support to help patients achieve stability and well-being.
Our team includes board-certified psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and psychiatric physician assistants who work collaboratively with primary care providers and counselors to create a care plan that fits your life.
We provide:
- Mental health/psychiatric evaluations
- Medication management
- Collaborative care
- Specialized treatment
- Child and adolescent psychiatry
We treat the following conditions:
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Bipolar disorder
- Schizophrenia
- Serious mental illness
- Impulsive behaviors
- Psychosis
- Suicidal thoughts
We partner closely with patients and families, emphasizing shared decision-making, education and recovery-focused goals. Care is accessible at our clinics and via telehealth, ensuring that support when and where our patients need it most.
Terros Health’s community prevention team empowers individuals to make safe and healthy choices around substance use and sexual health. Our compassionate outreach includes education, testing and vital connections to care. Our homeless outreach program also offers a safe and welcoming space where individuals can share a warm meal, access showers and receive support for mental health, substance use and sexual health needs.
Outpatient Clinical Portable Pilot Program
Like in many other communities, there has been a surge in the number of unhoused members in greater Phoenix. Our team of primary care and mental health specialists are addressing the needs of this growing population as part of an Outpatient Clinical Portable Pilot Program.
Each of our two colorfully decorated vans — affectionately named “Disco” and “Groovy” — is staffed by a registered nurse, a peer outreach specialist and a clinician or counselor who together provide everything from basic primary care, vaccinations and infectious disease prevention to mental health and substance use counseling. The team also offers transportation support, housing resources and other critical wraparound services based on individuals’ social determinants of health.
Every child deserves access to compassionate, evidence-based behavioral health care in an environment where they feel seen, heard and supported. Terros Health’s Children’s Services help young people and their families navigate mental health, substance use and other challenges and achieve emotional well-being through personalized, family-centered care.

Comprehensive case management means having someone by your side to help you navigate care and support. Your case manager will listen to your needs, help create a plan, and connect you with the right services — whether that’s medical care, counseling, housing, benefits, or other community resources. They stay in touch, check in regularly, and advocate for you so you don’t have to figure it all out alone. The goal is to make sure you have the tools, support, and connections you need to feel stable, healthy, and hopeful.
At Terros Health, we know treatment works and recovery is possible. Our robust system of care includes several ways people challenged by substance use disorder can get help.
- Maverick House, our 29-bed, male residential addiction treatment center. In this safe, supportive environment, individuals can focus on their recoveries with expert counseling and encouragement while also developing new skills. Personalized support plans help them maintain sobriety and successful reintegrate into the community. Throughout their treatment, they also have access to primary care, psychiatric services, laundry and family-style dining.
- Maverick Health Center. To ensure a continuity of care for patients at Maverick House, Terros Health put plans in place to open an onsite health center where these individuals can begin their intake process and maintain a connection to receive ongoing support as they resume their daily lives.
